Golfing Holiday in Shannonside

Ireland’s Shannon region has been carved by nature itself and its
dramatic Atlantic coastline and unspoiled greenery is the perfect setting
for a great golf break. Lahinch Old links and Doonbeg are the most
famous courses along this coast and can be included in any of our
suggested golf holidays.

The hotel offers 83 luxurious bedrooms with king beds, stylishly and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. There is formal dining, a recently opened Café and Poet’s Corner, where locals and visitors can share a drink, or a story or two.

The Golf: Woodstock, Lahinch and Ennis

Dromoland is a magnificent parkland course situated within the Dromoland Castle
estate with a new layout that is 6845 yards. Woodstock has many natural and historical features to challenge and intrigue, including four holes where water is the principle hazard. Ennis Golf Club – founded in 1907 – is immaculately manicured and always provides a fair test. Lahinch Old Course is a mecca for keen golfers from far and wide.

The world–famous Klondyke (5th), a par five, features a drive into a scenic valley from where one is expected to play a completely blind second shot over a monstrous sand dune to a gently rolling green some 200 yards further on.

Shannon with delightful river walks and a leisure centre that includes a swimming

Limerick County is a testing championship standard course with sand–based greens and tees all built to US PGA standards.

All above prices are for B&B based on sharing twin or double rooms and include standard season HSS or Express mid-week ferry crossings for a car, MPV or 4x4 with three rounds of golf as shown.
