Recommended golf deal – Slieve Russell (played twice),
Castle Hume and County Cavan – £155 per person
The Slieve Russell is a beautiful, well-designed parkland course and
a match for all, with no two holes alike and a track meandering
around large loughs and through pleasant countryside – play it
twice. Cavan is a more traditional parkland course with lots of
features and enough tough holes to “put manners on you”, as the
Irish say. The lush fairways and fine greens make Castle Hume a
treat and a fair test of golf.
