The Golf: Esker Hill, Tullamore and Portarlington.
Tullamore is constantly being tweaked to make the most of the mature woodland and attractive water hazards – a wonderful course. Esker Hills has a totally different character and is more links–like because it has been created on a sand base – a rare treat to play (buggies are included). Portarlington is a beautiful parkland course where mature trees and woodland often come into play.

A family-owned hotel set on the shore of Lough Ree with magnificent views across the hotel’s own championship course. There are 65 air–conditioned bedrooms. The hotel has a restaurant, serves bar food all day and is a mile from Glasson Village with its traditional pubs and restaurants.

The Golf: Glasson, Athlone, Birr and Ballinasloe.
At Glasson you will need all of your golfing wits and concentration to enjoy stunning holes and delightful views. Birr has been carved out of natural woodland and eskers to provide a challenge for even the most accomplished golfers. Ballinasloe has a number of feature holes and is a ‘hidden gem’ and a good test for the average golfer.

The Golf: Slieve Russell, Castle Hume and Cavan.
The Slieve Russell, a beautiful, well designed parkland course is a match for all, with no two holes alike and a track meandering around large loughs and through pleasant countryside – play it twice. Cavan is a more traditional parkland course with lots of features and enough tough holes to 'put manners on you’, as the Irish say. The lush fairways and fine greens make Castle Hume a treat and a fair test of golf.
